Dell has partnered with China’s largest internet search engine Baidu to produce a smartphone, inside a move that may help both companies tap the nation’s growing cell phone market.

A Dell spokeswoman stated on Tuesday the 2 companies were creating a smartphone, but declined to provide details along with a launch date. A Baidu spokesman declined to provide comment.
